The Maori Gum timber slabs for this table were sourced from Western Australia where it grows in abundance. The unmistakable gum veins of Maori Gum are carefully dissolved and then methodically filled with black epoxy. This serves to stabilise the timber, fill the voids and provides a striking unique piece when finished.
