Tattersalls Members Rooms

In addition to the newly updated main dining room, makimaki undertook the refurbishment of the members' bar and dining room joinery works at the revered Tattersalls Club.

Acknowledging the Members' Dining Room as one of Brisbane's most iconic & timeless examples of late Art Deco architecture, designer Studiospillane used restraint & subtle color to revive the room to its stunning former glory.

The Queensland Silky Oak bars were replaced to match the existing trim details & comply to strict heritage parameters. Custom glass & timber display cabinets were made to store the priceless trophies & plaques, including a Melbourne Cup & a Caulfield Cup.
