Lúc Lắc (pronounced Look Luck) takes its name from the bold and unforgettable Vietnamese dish Bò Lúc Lắc (Shaking Beef) — a vibrant, wok-tossed classic known for its intense flavour.

The fitout shares the same energy: dramatic, colourful, and unapologetically bold. Drawing inspiration from the bustling streets of Southeast Asia, the design is elevated with a refined, contemporary edge.

makimaki was proud to contribute several standout solid timber joinery elements — from the bar with fluted moulding to geometric-featured DJ and maître d’ counters, as well as bespoke storage units — all finely crafted to complement the warm, expressive aesthetic.
